The Physiological Society of Japan is active through meetings, publications, and committees for education, science, and policy making. Its aim is to promote research in the physiological sciences by encouraging communication among members and by contributing to the national and international scientific communities. The Society is also actively engaged in outreach programs to young researchers and to the public at large, to ensure that the importance of physiology to human health is well understood.
