NAVAL FORCES, International Forum for Maritime Power, was founded in 1980 and has since developed into the world´s only truly international and independent journal on modern defence at sea. It is the world's leading international bi-monthly periodical specialising in matters concerning naval warfare and technology defence at sea in the English language with up to six special issues per year on navies, shipyards and naval organisations. Among the magazine's unique specialities are "close-ups" on certain selected themes, such as specific technological areas, the activities of relevant elements of the international shipbuilding industry, special issues on individual navies and authorities. NAVAL FORCES has an audited circulation per issue of more than 16,000 copies, plus bonus distribution at major naval and tri-service exhibitions/ conferences.
