Journal of Shanghai University (English Edition) is a comprehensive journal of science and technology sponsored by Shanghai University, a major university in Shanghai with more than 24000 students and 4000 faculty members. The objective is to provide a forum for the international and domestic exchange of views and new findings in the natural sciences, from the faculty of Shanghai University, as well as researchers at other institutions. The published works represent some of the research accomplishments obtained at Shanghai University, reflecting the scientific research strength of the University. The Journal became a bimonthly in 2005. In the past 10 years, nearly 700 papers have been published, among which more than 500 were indexed by EI. More than 50% of the published papers were supported by various research foundations, in particular, the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
